Dawn E. Bluhm, nee Lockhart, 55, of Chicago, passed away June 25, 2007. Daughter of Joseph and Aili Lockhart; dear sister of the late Pamela, and Joseph (Mary) Lockhart; devoted and loving mother of sons Bryan (Melissa), and Eric (Colleen, fiance); also survived by cousins and many nieces and nephews. Dawn was employed at Council for Jewish Elderly as a Grants Operations Specialist. She also was a founding member of the American Association of Grant Professionals, Chicago-Area Chapter. She earned her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Psychology at Illinois State University. Dawn loved flowers and was an avid gardener. She also enjoyed drawing, writing poetry, reading, games, and her cats. Her family, many friends and CJE colleagues, will sorely miss Dawn. There will be a private visitation for immediate family only. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 29, 2007 1 p.m. at New Life Community Church, Lakeview, 2958 N.
