The pitch: “Life is just a bowl of cherries. Also peaches. And low-fat frozen yogurt. Life’s all of those things.”
First thought: Have you ever sipped a cold Dannon peach yogurt through a straw? This is it. Bits of peaches in a semi-thick shake that can hold a straw in place. Whipped cream flavors linger.
On second thought: Slurping takes minor effort. There’s a back-of-the-throat sweetness.

The pitch: “Things Are Getting Serious! Waffle cone pieces, rich chocolate chunks and caramel blended with creamy vanilla soft serve.”
First thought: As rich and thick as Donald Trump. (Nobody? Nobody?) A crunch sensation in every spoon. It’s all the goodness of an ice cream cone, thrown in a mixer and in hygienic cup form.
On second thought: I would be perfectly happy with just chocolate and waffle pieces, but I guess it wouldn’t be a caramel waffle crisp Blizzard treat. On Atkins? Run away.

Frosty Float (Vanilla)
WENDY’S $1.99 for about 16 ounces

The pitch: “Cool, creamy chocolate or vanilla meets ice cold soda in this refreshing real-milk dairy dessert.”
First thought: At first, the smooth vanilla Frosty just sat there, above the half-cup of Coke. Ten minutes later, the two melded into an amalgam of brownish liquid. And then it was fine.
On second thought: Coca-Cola might be too neutral of a beverage companion for the Vanilla Frosty. Try Dr Pepper.
