A RedEye honor box exploded in the wee hours of Thursday morning in Lincoln Park. Police were notified of the explosion on the 1900 block of Lincoln Avenue about 4:15 a.m., according to Officer Tom Polick. When officers arrived, they found firefighters extinguishing burning newspapers. There was no indication anyone was injured, he said.
