MARINE RADIO

LINCOLNWOOD FEST

The Friends of Lincolnwood host the 7th annual Lincolnwood Fest Classic Car Show from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 15 in Proesel Park (Kostner and Lincoln Avenues). DUNLOP CUP

Registration closes July 15 fot the Dunlop Drivers Cup at Virginia International Raceway Sept. 17-21. Drivers, who are at least 21 and have a valid driver’s license, can apply for a spot at VIR at www.dunloptire.com/driverscup/ to join the amateur competition, which will include rallye racing this year.

CRUISE NITES

Cruise Nites are being held from 6 to 9 p.m. alternating Tuesdays from July 17 through Sept. 25 at Oberweis Shopping Center, Ill. 59 and Stearns Road in Bartlett. Call Mike at 630 372-1633.

DIESEL DAYS

Vintage diesels will pass in review July 14 and 15 at the Illinois Railway Museum in Union. Rides on a coach train pulled by one of these giant are available. RIDE TO WORK

Ride to Work Inc., a Minnesota nonprofit organization, sponsors its 16th annual Ride to Work Day July 18. Motorcyclists are encouraged to commute by bike that day to raise awareness of motorcycling. Visit www.ridetowork.org.

TOUR DE HEALTH

Tour de Health, sponsored by CGH Medical Center and Edward Jones, is rides of 7, 25 or 50 miles starting at 8 a.m. July 21 at the Rock Falls Middle School in Rock Falls, Ill. Registration opens at 7 a.m. with fees of $25 through July 15 and $30 afterward. Visit www.cghmc.com.
