No more “Car Kabob”? No way! Way!

The Chicago-area landmark that made an appearance in “Wayne’s World” is being dismantled this summer to make way for a Walgreens, according to The Associated Press.

The Berwyn sculpture, made up of eight stacked cars impaled on a steel pipe in a strip mall parking lot, still draws plenty of visitors — though some of them include the birds that use it as a dumping ground.

But there still might be hope for the kabob: The president of Concordia Realty, which manages the plaza, said the company is trying to restore and relocate the sculpture, according to the Tribune.

Excellent!
