They say (OK, we say) that a person’s favorite pie is indicative of their personality. So one afternoon, we stopped by the Bakers Square in Niles (8584 W. Dempster St.; 847-297-1465) and asked, “If you were a pie, what pie would you be?”
“A pumpkin pie. Because it’s delicious and nutritious.”
— Christina Hyland, 12, Park Ridge
“Key lime pie. It’s a little bit sweet and a little bit tart, kind of like me.”
— Cindy Centella, 51, Chicago
“Oreo pie. It’s mixed with a whole lot of different things, it’s delicious and it’s to die for.”
— SiRena Webb, 17, Chicago
“An apple pie. Because we’re all-American and we’re both picky.”
— Chris Pasminski, 15, with sister Andrea, 13, Long Grove
