Katherine McPhee will join the ranks of pop stars who also are trying to make a go at an acting career. The lovely “American Idol” runner up will co-star with funny gal Anna Faris in an untitled comedy produced by Adam Sandler’s company Happy Madison, ew.com reports.
The movie stars Faris as an ex-Playboy bunny who gets a job as a den mother to the lamest sorority on a college campus. McPhee will play one of the sorority girls in the flick. Filming is set to start in the late summer.
