1. IndyCar Racing
6:30 p.m, ESPN
The IRL season continues with the Firestone Indy 200 from Nashville Superspeedway in Tennessee, where Scott Dixon bested Dan Wheldon and Vitor Meira in a 26-lap dash to the finish to win last year’s race. The sprint to this season’s championship — six races remain after tonight — should be just as exciting based on the standings after seven events. Dario Franchitti led Wheldon by 20 points and eight others who also were within double-digits of the top spot.
2. ‘Freaky Friday’
7 p.m., WLS-Ch. 7
Jodie Foster was cute as a bug in the 1976 version, but this 2003 remake more than holds its own by comparison. Jamie Lee Curtis copped a Golden Globe nomination for her hilarious performance as Tess, a fortysomething psychotherapist who switches bodies with her rebellious teenage daughter (Lindsay Lohan), thanks to a most inconvenient magic spell that hits the pair just a few days before Tess is to marry her handsome fiance (Mark Harmon).
3. ‘Addams Family Values’
7 p.m., Bravo
Novelist-playwright Paul Rudnick wrote this hilariously subversive 1993 sequel to the 1991 comedy about the oddball clan. Gomez and Morticia (Raul Julia, Anjelica Huston) take in a nanny, not realizing she’s a serial killer with designs on Uncle Fester (Christopher Lloyd). Christina Ricci again steals all her scenes as young Wednesday. Joan Cusack also stars.
4. ‘Without a Trace’
8 p.m., WBBM-Ch. 2
A stripper goes missing from a club that lost another dancer to murder. Jack (Anthony LaPaglia) has Elena (Roselyn Sanchez) go under cover as a stripper at the club in search of leads. She’s not alone; Danny (Enrique Murciano) is posing as a customer. Back at the office, Jack and Anne (Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio) try to sort out the implications of her pregnancy.
5. Boxing
8 p.m., HBO
The “human highlight reel” highlights a triple-header of welterweight action from Atlantic City, N.J., and Carson, Calif. The so-nicknamed Arturo Gatti looks to enhance his reputation when he takes on Alfonso Gomez in a scheduled 10-round bout. Also in Jersey, the evening begins with IBF champion Kermit Cintron battling Walter Matthysse in a title fight, and it ends on the West Coast, where WBO champ Antonio Margarito defends his title vs. Paul Williams.
