*SAILING: Windquest, the 86-foot sailboat that led the fleet in the 99th annual Chicago Yacht Club Race to Mackinac Sunday night, was clocked in 28 hours, 44 minutes, 43 seconds in the 333-mile-long race, the world’s longest freshwater sailboat race. Only one other boat, Equation, finished within 16 hours.

*SOCCER: Tony Sanneh said the Fire has traded his rights to Colorado for a fourth-round pick in the 2009 MLS SuperDraft. Sanneh does not have to report until he signs with the Rapids. The veteran defender is seeking a trade to the New York Red Bulls.
