The Los Angeles Times reports daytime chatfest “The View” is about to sign two new co-hosts: Whoopi Goldberg and Sherri Shepherd.
Sources say an announcement is due next week, the paper says.
ABC said it’s not commenting now.
Goldberg, 51, and Shepherd, 40, both have made guest appearances on “The View.” Shepherd’s latest movie, “Who’s Your Caddy?” opens Friday.
Even O’Donnell was on the Goldberg bandwagon. Not too long ago, she told readers of her blog that adding Whoopi “would rock.”
