The Reduced Shakespeare Company is taking over the Royal George Theatre’s mainstage with both “Completely Hollywood (abridged),” opening Oct. 7 and “The Bible: The Complete Word of God (abridged)” opening Oct. 9. Both are written and directed by Reed Martin and Austin Tichenor, directors of the Reduced Shakespeare Company, a three-man comedy troupe that performs all over the world. … Margaret Cho is bringing her new burlesque-style show “The Sensuous Woman” to Chicago’s Lakeshore Theater for performances Sept. 19-22. Along with Cho, the show features a variety of outre performers working “in celebration of women’s bodies.” Immediately after, the show moves to the Zipper Factory off-Broadway. … It’s Christmas already — tickets to both “A Christmas Carol” at the Goodman Theatre and “The Radio City Christmas Spectacular” at the Rosemont Theatre are already on sale. … Improv comedians Kate Duffy and Rachel Lewis have announced a new show called “Two Brazen Broads” — at the Apollo Studio Theater Sept. 6 to Oct. 25.
