Shell spoons

These dainty Coral and Shell Spoons, metal flatware made from actual sea life molds, are crafted by jewelry designer Table Art.

Tropical botanical

Padma’s Plantation’s Crocodile Palms are the dried spiky fronds of palm trees. Use one as a centerpiece or arrange several into a striking wall hanging, as shown here.

Natural light

An oiled-wood base carved to look like antlers pairs with a simple parchment shade to make for a masculine lamp just right for a summer cabin or second home.

Fir real

Knotty wood accessories — like these fir Burlwood Bowls — seem to be everywhere at the moment, but the fact that they are crafted from tree stumps and roots means every bowl is essentially a one-of-a-kind work of art.

High-fashion hemp

Interior designer Michele Fitzpatrick says her studio’s natural Hemp Wallcoverings emit a beautiful sheen when they catch the light. She recommends hanging them in dry areas of the house, such as the dining room or foyer (no bathrooms).
