A rep for Tom Cruise recently had to come out and refute a rumor that the actor’s darling daughter Suri was slated to be a spokesbaby for Baby Gap. The rumor is “totally untrue,” the actor’s rep said. Besides, mom Katie Holmes seems to be on a couture kick lately anyway.

Maddox, Zahara, Pax and Shiloh brought some pint-sized star power to Chicago this month while mom Angelina Jolie filmed the assassin flick “Wanted.” As “Eye Contact” columnist Liz Crokin reported, Jolie and Z were spotted shopping at Timeless Toys on the North Side. Jolie, Brad Pitt and the whole family took a boat trip on the lake Saturday to take in the Air & Water Show.
