Construction projects will cause changes and delays on two CTA routes.
Northbound Red Line trains, which usually operate through the subway from Cermak/Chinatown to Fullerton, will be rerouted to the elevated tracks overnight from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Thursday. The rerouting will be in effect again Aug. 27 to 31.
The O’Hare branch of the Blue Line will be on a single track between Grand and Division until mid-September. The single track will be in effect from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. weekdays.
Blue Line service will be suspended between the Western/Milwaukee and Clark/Lake stations Friday to Monday and Sept. 7 to 10. Bus shuttles will be available.
