Glamorama
The Chicago Theatre and Macy’s go country with this year’s Glamorama event called “The Good, The Bad and The Beautiful.” The fashion show will feature designers Marc Jacobs, Donna Karan, Calvin Klein, Just Cavalli and Michael Kors, among others. Country acts Gretchen Wilson, Big & Rich and Cowboy Troy headline. Red carpet arrivals start at 6:30 p.m., and the show starts at 8 p.m. Friday at the Chicago Theatre (175 N. State St.; 312-559-1212). The afterparty at Macy’s (111 N. State St.; 312-902-1500) continues the Wild West theme with barbecue and a mechanical bull.
