A diagnosed paranoid schizophrenic accused of attacking more than 14 people on Chicago streets was sentenced Monday to seven years of in-patient care at a psychiatric facility. Receiving the same verdict he got in two aggravated battery cases tried in March, Donald Cook was found not guilty by reason of insanity Monday in a third case, the 2004 beating of a 60-year-old woman. The sentence handed down by Judge Jorge Luis Alonso was the maximum for the three cases.
