In August, Major League Baseball followed the lead of its NHL, PGA and NFL counterparts in allowing footwear maker Crocs to use baseball team logos — including the Cubs and White Sox — on their trendy resin clogs.

Crocs first made an entry to the sports world on the feet of athletes, who favor them as a comfortable, dry after-practice shoe. Fans’ feet were a natural next step.

“MLB fans are often standing and walking for a long time,” said Stephanie Koon of Crocs Inc. “Crocs are ergonomically designed for reducing muscle fatigue in situations like that.” They’re $34.99 for adults and $29 for kids at crocs.com.
