Chicago-area business leaders will join author David Thomson and three local chief executives for a discussion on the growth drivers and challenges of exponential corporate growth.
The “Blueprint to a Billion” breakfast sponsored by ACG Chicago will take place from 7:45 to 10:15 a.m. Friday at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare, 9300 W. Bryn Mawr Ave. in Rosemont.
Thomson, author of “Blueprint to a Billion: 7 Essentials to Achieve Exponential Growth,” will discuss the success pattern of the 5 percent of companies that have gone public since 1980 and subsequently grown to more than $1 billion in revenue. Following his remarks, Thomson will moderate a panel discussion featuring three CEOs whose companies are experiencing exponential growth. Panelists are: Daniel Hamburger, president and CEO of DeVry Inc.; Selim Bassoul, chairman and CEO of The Middleby Corp.; and Gary Holdren, chairman, CEO and president of Huron Consulting Group.
