*The planned meeting between troubled Lindsay Lohan and her troubled father, Michael Lohan, has taken place at the Cirque Lodge treatment center in Utah, Lindsay’s mother, Dina Lohan, told People magazine.
*Kanye West and 50 Cent will appear on BET’s “106 & Park” on Tuesday, when both of their albums hit the stores. BET is treating the event like a top heavyweight fight, even borrowing Stuart Scott from ESPN to deliver a statistical breakdown of the two stars. Both are set to perform, but whether they will engage in a rap battle remains to be seen.
*Vanessa Hudgens, confirms that a nude photo that has hit the Internet is of her. “This was a photo which was taken privately,” a rep for the “High School Musical” teen queen tells TMZ.com. “It is a personal matter and it is unfortunate that this has become public.”
*Chicago native Robert Townsend will headline IFP/Chicago’s Independent Film Gala, scheduled for Sept. 28 at Salvage One, 1840 W. Hubbard St., Chicago.
