Boys soccer
Maine West and Lake Park remained unbeaten after they battled to a well-played 0-0 tie Thursday in a second-round game of the Wayne Stach Tournament.
Keeper David Mack recorded seven saves for his third shutout of the season for the Lancers (4-0-2). Maine West junior goalie Nate Andersen, who’d never played the position before this season, stopped 12 shots for his second shutout. The Warriors are 5-0-3.

*Lane Tech 2, Andrew 1: Henry Gomez scored two second-half goals as Lane Tech (3-1) rallied from a 1-0 halftime deficit.
Girls volleyball
Kelly Farrell had 26 assists, 10 points and two aces as No. 2 Crystal Lake Central (9-0) stayed perfect with a 25-7, 25-16 victory over Dundee-Crown. Carly Hayes had 10 kills for the winners.
*Joliet Catholic d. Bolingbrook 25-7, 25-13: Kelly Murphy had five kills and Briana Fleener added five blocks and two kills for No. 4 Joliet Catholic (9-0).
*Sandburg d. Lockport 25-23, 25-16: Alex Blatt had 10 kills and 10 digs for Sandburg (3-1, 2-1).
Football
Glen Brock had 18 carries for 135 yards and scored two touchdowns to lead Bogan to a 33-16 victory over Dyett. Deshaun Dotson also scored twice (50-yard punt return, 1-yard run) for the Bengals (1-2), while Wesley Billups (five tackles, fumble recovery and an interception) and Major Williams (two fumble recoveries and a sack) highlighted their defensive effort. Dyett fell to 0-3.
Boys golf
Naperville Central beat Naperville North 154-162 behind medalist Dan Funkhouser ‘s 37.
Girls golf
Lake Forest’s Hailey Koschmann won medalist honors with a 38, but New Trier won the dual meet 171-179.
