*Michelle Williams’ father says she and Heath Ledger have split up. Larry Williams — a stock trader based in Australia who is facing U.S. tax evasion charges — told Sydney’s The Daily Telegraph about the Hollywood couple. “We’ve known about their troubles for a while but it’s always a very difficult thing in life,” Williams said.

*GOP Reps. Mary Bono of California and Connie Mack of Florida announced their engagement Friday after dating for two years.
