1. Chicago Half Marathon
When: 7:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday
Where: Runners will assemble at 6:45 a.m. on Cornell Avenue between 47th Street and westbound Midway Plaisance. The race will travel along Hayes Drive, Lake Shore Drive, Marquette Drive, Cornell, Midway Plaisance, Dorchester Avenue, westbound Midway Plaisance, Stony Island Avenue, 57th Street, southbound Lake Shore Drive, 35th Street (turnaround), 57th Street, Marquette, and back to Cornell.
2. Mexican Independence Day Parade
When: 8 a.m.-noon Saturday
Where: Group will assemble on Columbus Drive from Balbo Drive to Roosevelt Road. Parade proceeds north on Columbus from Balbo to Monroe Drive and disbands on Monroe east and west of Columbus.
3. Von Stuben Parade
When: 2 p.m. Saturday
Where: Group assembles at noon at 4000 North Lincoln Avenue. The parade goes north to Eastwood Avenue, west to Western Avenue, north to Lawrence Avenue, and back to start.
4. Central American Parade
When: Noon SundayWhere: Group assembles at 10:30 a.m. on California Avenue between Berteau and Montrose Avenues. The parade goes west on Montrose to Kimball Avenue.
