1. ‘Ground Zero Search and Recovery’

8 p.m., History Channel

It’s like an episode of “CSI: NY,” only bigger and, sadly, all true. This new special focuses on the work of the real NYPD Crime Scene Unit in the wake of the World Trade Center attack. Detective Joe Blozis describes the team’s effort to provide closure to victims’ loved ones by recovering and identifying remains — an effort that proved successful for more than 1,500 families.

2. ‘P.O.V.’

10 p.m., WTTW-Ch. 11

In the summer of 1971, a group of activists that included four Catholic priests and a Lutheran minister broke into a draft board office in Camden, N.J. A total of 28 people were arrested in that raid, an act of protest against killing in general and the Vietnam War in particular. In the new documentary “The Camden 28,” those who took part in the raid explain why they did it, how it affected them and what it means for present-day America.
