Tommy Lee says he feels bad about disrupting Alicia Keys’ VMA performance Sunday night with his fight with Kid Rock — not that he’s ready to apologize to “Kid Pebble.”
Rock and Lee got into it in the audience while Keys sang onstage. (The scuffle is posted on mtv.com.)
“I would like to apologize to Alicia and … MTV for the disrespectful [bleep] caused by a piece of [bleep] called Kid Pebble!!” Lee wrote on his official Web site.
Meanwhile, Kanye West continued his rant against MTV, saying producers exploited Britney for ratings and had her open the show knowing she wasn’t ready.
The channel’s response Tuesday, according to the AP: “Britney Spears has had so many memorable, high-energy performances at the VMAs over the years, and no one wanted to see her succeed more than her MTV fans and MTV.”
