Add conservationists to the list of people supermodel Naomi Campbell has offended.
Campbell’s plans to open a casino/hotel with former flame Flavio Briatore in Malindi, a Kenyan resort town that serves as a haven for turtles, has come under fire, according to the New York Post.
“This would have a very negative effect on turtle nesting,” Athman Seif, director of the Malindi Marine Association, said in an interview reported by the Post. “The lights would confuse the turtles and send them heading off in the wrong direction.”
