Who says you can’t get any bang for a buck these days? The Third Coast International Audio Festival presents the “Dollar Storeys” audio celebration with guest Jonathan Messinger of The Dollar Store show (first Friday of every month at the Hideout, 1354 W. Livin’ like a refugee
If you thought condos were growing out of control in Chicago, wait till you see what’s sprouted up in Grant Park’s Butler Field. The new exhibit “A Refugee Camp in the Heart of the City” highlights the plight of refugees around the world on the site of a mock camp. Jam and toast
Real women have curves. Reel women have Cinejam 2007. Presented in conjunction with the fifth annual EstroJam festival of music and culture, the film fest showcases works by female filmmakers from around the globe.
