Cavaliers general manager Danny Ferry, a Duke alum, was horrified when he walked into his office in the new Cleveland Clinic Courts on Wednesday, just hours before the grand opening of the facility, to find a wall in his office painted Carolina blue with a huge Tar Heels logo on the wall and on the window facing the court. The prankster struck in coach Mike Brown’s office, too, painting part of it pink. The practical joke was orchestrated by someone close enough to get the approval of owner Dan Gilbert. Evidence points to a member of the ownership group with North Carolina ties.
