Eugenia Miczko, age 90, daughter of the late Dr. Wladyslaw and Helen Koniuszewski, nee Rupinski; wife of the late Paul; mother of Conrad.
Although she was a housewife, she pursued a career as a translator and interpreter on a part-time basis.
Truly genteel, stylish and socially responsible, she maintained a busy calendar right until her death.
She was an optimist with undauntable spirit.
She was past President of the Legion of Young Polish Women, the Lincolnwood Women’s Club, and the Von Humboldt PTA and a member of the Past Presidents’ Club of the Tenth District General Federation of Women’s Clubs, Chicago Art Deco Society, Chicago Polish Arts Club, Society of Architectural Historians, and Polish National Alliance.
Services will be held Sunday, Sept.
23, 3:15 p.m. atGraham Taylor Chapel, 5757 S. University Ave., Chicago.
