Samuel L. Jackson and Bernie Mac will team up as former backup soul singers in “Soul Men,” Variety reports.
In the Dimension Films comedy, the two will play singers who haven’t talked to each other in 20 years but reluctantly reunite for a tribute performance in honor of the recently deceased band leader.
Both Jackson and Mac will dance and sing in the movie that will begin production Jan. 15.
