Political journalism is looking hotter than ever.
Brad Pitt paid a visit to the Washington Post’s newsroom on Friday to research a new role as a reporter in the upcoming film “State of Play.” Employees gawked at the star and pulled out cell phones to call friends, according to the Post. One female employee was overheard saying, “It was like angels singing” after she made eye contact with Pitt, the paper said.
He reportedly spent four hours touring the newsroom with director Kevin Macdonald, waving and saying hello to employees in passing.
“State of Play,” a thriller, co-stars Edward Norton and is set to be released in 2008, according to imdb.com.
