The hits keep coming for Kanye West. The rap mogul was tapped on Us Weekly’s Power Players 2007 list as a Style Maker in its Oct. 1 issue. West tells the mag, “I capture a whole lifestyle. … I’m working hard every day. I have to really come up with something impressive.” He is scheduled to perform Sept. 29 on the season premiere of “Saturday Night Live.”

Looks like NBC’s “The Biggest Loser” is still a big hit with viewers. After a promising start to its fourth installment this month, NBC has picked up a fifth cycle of the show, according to hollywoodreporter.com. The 14-episode new season of the weight-loss reality series will feature for the first time teams of two — significant others, relatives, co-workers or best friends — rather than individual contestants competing for a $250,000 grand prize.
Rumors surrounding ‘Montana’
Stop the presses! Fourteen-year-old Miley Cyrus, who plays Hannah Montana on the Disney Channel show of same name, is not pregnant, her rep tells tmz.com. The statement was in response to rumors that began when the Web site for teen zine J-14 posted a false quote attributed to the actress, zap2it.com reports. “The story is a complete fabrication. Someone mocked up a fake J-14 article,” Cyrus’ rep told TMZ. J-14 also released a statement on its Web site saying, “Despite Internet rumors, J-14 NEVER reported that Miley Cyrus is pregnant.”
