Jack Bauer is in trouble. At least, the man who portrays him is.
Kiefer Sutherland was arrested early Tuesday morning on suspicion of drunken driving, according to several sources.
Police stopped him after an illegal U-turn, then gave the star a field sobriety test. The Associated Press reports that Sutherland was over the legal limit, was booked and was released on $25,000 bail. He’s scheduled to appear in court Oct. 16.
But the action doesn’t stop there. A misdemeanor DUI count carries a maximum sentence of a year in jail, the AP says, and he could face a charge of violating probation after a 2004 DUI.
