The Palatine High School Ecology Club will hold a fundraiser selling compact fluorescent light bulbs through Oct. 4. Bulbs can be purchased from students for $1.50 for a 15-watt bulb to $3.50 for a 3-bulb sample pack. Bulbs also will be sold during the Palatine farmers market Saturday. The Hersey High School Auto Show will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday in the school’s west parking lot, 1900 E. Thomas St., Arlington Heights. Prizes will be awarded.
