Round the bases
Sure, Cubs fans are renowned for their loyalty, but it’s their beer-chugging chops and partying ways that really keep them in the spotlight. PH Productions pays homage to the North Side sluggers’ fan base as the team vies for a spot in the playoffs with its fourth sketch comedy revue, “Sex, Cubs & Rock ‘n’ Roll.” Sounds like a home run to us. 11 p.m. Through Nov. 15. $5-$8. Paint the town
Kick off Chicago Artists’ Month (starting in October) at the 37th Annual Pilsen East Artists’ Open House. See works by more than 100 artists along Halsted Street (from 17th Street to Canalport Avenue) and 18th Street (from Peoria to Jefferson Streets) during self-guided tours of neighborhood galleries and private studios.
