*Chrysler is recalling 296,500 2006-07 Jeep Grand Cherokee, Commander and Wrangler and Dodge Nitro SUVs to fix an electronic unit that could delay braking while coasting uphill. 9-23-07
*Chrysler is recalling 72,333 2008 Sebring covertibles and Dodge Avenger sedans to fix front-door latches and locks. 9-23-07
*Honda is recalling 182,756 2006-07 Civic sedans and coupes to fix a wheel-bearing seal that may leak and cause the wheel to fall off. 9-23-07
*Honda is recalling 19,904 2006 Civic sedans and hybrids to repair a brake-light switch that may fail. 9-23-07
*General Motors has recalled 20,594 2002-04 Chevrolet Venture minivans and Buick Rendezvous SUVs and 2001-04 Pontiac Aztek SUVs and Pontiac Montana minivans to replace fuel tanks that may leak. 8-19-07
* Ford is recalling 3.6 million 1998-02 Ford Ranger; 1992-97 Lincoln Town Car, Ford Crown Victoria and Mercury Grand Marquis; 1993-98 Lincoln Mark VIII; 1993-95 Taurus SHO; 1999-01 Ford Explorer and Mercury Mountaineer; 2001-02 Ford Explorer Sport and Sport Trac; 1992-93 E150-350; 1997-02 E150-350; 1993 Ford F-Series and Bronco; 1994 Mercury Capri; 2003-2004 Ford F-150 Lightning and 1995-2002 Ford F53 vehicles to address concerns about a cruise-control switch. 8-12-07
*Suzuki is recalling 75,697 2006-07 Forenza and Reno sedans to replace front seat belts that might cause injuries in a crash. 8-5-07
*Nissan is recalling 140,582 2007 Altima sedans because the air filter can catch fire if it touches a hot object. 7-15-07
*Chrysler is recalling more than 80,000 2007 Jeep Wrangler and Dodge Nitro SUVs to correct a problem that could make the engine stall. 7-8-07
*Chrysler is recalling more than 400,000 2005 Dodge Caravan and Chrysler Town & Country minivans with air bags that may not deploy because of corrosion on the sensors in states that use large amounts of road salt. 5-20-07
*Ford is recalling more than 500,000 2001-04 Escape SUVs after receiving reports of engine fires linked to corrosion on anti-lock brake connectors. 4-15-07
* Honda is recalling 166,500 2005 Accord and Accord Hybrid sedans and Odyssey minivans and 2006 Ridgeline pickups and 2005 Acura TL, RL and TSX sport sedans to fix an electrical flaw in the fuel-pump relay. 3-25-07
* Chrysler is recalling about 478,000 2004-06 Dodge Durango and 2006-07 Jeep Liberty SUVs to repair heating-and-cooling blowers and an instrument-panel circuit. 3-18-07
* Chrysler is recalling 10,994 2008 Dodge Avengers to modify the front-door latches. 3-18-07
* Ford is recalling 109,664 2003-05 Crown Victoria police cars because cracks can develop in their steel wheels that could cause rapid tire air loss in high-speed pursuits. 3-18-07
*Ford is recalling about 155,000 2003 F-150, F-250, F-350, F-450 and F-550 Super Duty and Lincoln Blackwood pickups and Ford Excursion SUVs to repair a cruise-control switch system that already has led to millions of recalls. 3-11-07
*GM is recalling 13,000, or almost all, 2007 Saturn Outlook and GMC Acadia SUVs because front air bags may fail to deploy in a crash. 3-4-07

*Toyota is recalling 160 2007 Camry Solara coupes over a tether strap that may keep the side-curtain air bags from inflating properly. 12-24-06
