*Foxy Brown, who is serving a 1-year jail term, twice refused to get on a New York Correction Department bus Friday for a court appearance, the prosecutor’s office said. The 28-year-old rapper was arrested in August and accused of striking Arlene Raymond, 25. If Brown, who is due back in court Tuesday, refuses, the court could issue an order allowing correction officers to put her in handcuffs and force her onto the bus.

*Leaders of the Broadway stagehands union have scheduled a strike authorization vote for Oct. 21 after tense labor negotiations this week between Broadway producers and Local One failed to produce a settlement. Producers want more leeway in the number of stagehands they hire, while the union seeks to protect its jobs.

*Orlando Bloom was involved in a minor car crash on a Hollywood street early Friday morning, police said. Bloom, 30, told police a paparazzo in an SUV cut him off, said Officer Ana Aguirre. Though Bloom was not injured in the accident, two passengers in his car were. Police said a 30-year-old woman in the front seat got cuts and bruises on her face, while a 35-year-old woman in the back seat fractured her neck.
