1. ‘Little People, Big World’

7:30 p.m., TLC

Little people plus big world plus RV equals some spectacular scenery. Season 3 of the reality show about little people Matt and Amy Roloff and their four kids continues with a road trip to some Western landmarks. From the Grand Canyon to Yosemite, you can “ooh” and “ahh” right along with them, and empathize with their efforts to coexist in the close quarters of a recreational vehicle. The episode repeats at 10:30 p.m.

2. ‘Two and a Half Men’

8 p.m., WBBM-Ch. 2

She’s baaack! Melanie Lynskey returns to the role of Rose, Charlie’s (Charlie Sheen, right) stalker, in the sitcom’s 100th episode. Charlie and his new girlfriend, Linda (guest star Ming Wen), are growing closer. But Charlie keeps seeing Rose’s face everywhere. Jon Cryer and Angus T. Jones also star.

3. ‘CSI: Miami’

9 p.m., WBBM-Ch. 2

Could Tim Speedle be alive? The character, played by Rory Cochrane, was killed in the third-season premiere, but as Horatio (David Caruso) investigates a college student’s death in a mysterious car fire, they uncover evidence that their old colleague may not have died in that shootout at a jewelry store after all. Emily Procter, Adam Rodriguez and Khandi Alexander also star.

4. ‘The Mysterious Human Heart’

9 p.m., WTTW-Ch. 11

This new three-part mini-series is a fascinating peek inside the human heart, how it works and what happens when it doesn’t. Stories of real people with assorted cardiac issues help illuminate the picture. Part 1 explains the heart’s functions and introduces three patients with end-stage heart failure. Part 2 follows at 10 p.m.

5. ‘Journeyman’

9:01 p.m., WMAQ-Ch. 5

Men. Can’t live with ’em, can’t live without ’em — except when they disappear to go time traveling. A frustrated Katie (Gretchen Egolf) asks Jack (Reed Diamond) to escort her to the gala, seeing as she can’t count on Dan (Kevin McKidd) to stay put. He’s in 1995 helping a woman on a blind date. Speaking of women, the one from his own past (Moon Bloodgood) has some questions about the woman in his present.
