ALCS GAME 3
INDIANS 4, RED SOX 2
Cleveland leads series 2-1
CLEVELAND Jake Westbrook, right at home in the Jake, was exactly what the Cleveland Indians needed. Backed by an early homer from old pro Kenny Lofton, Westbrook took a shutout into the seventh inning, leading the Indians to a 4-2 win over the Red Sox. Meanwhile, the $103 million man has been almost worthless for Boston in the playoffs. Daisuke Matsuzaka failed for the second straight time to make it out of the fifth inning in the postseason.
