Ted Bruner of Bolingbrook pays his respects as a preschooler whose remains were found in a laundry bag near a dry creek bed in DuPage County two years ago is laid to rest Monday at Assumption Cemetery in Wheaton. The child — thought to be 3 to 4 years old — was interred because no one came forward to identify him, the DuPage County sheriff’s officials said last week. Bruner’s dog discovered the body.
