Internet rumors that “Smokin’ Aces” actor Chris Pine would join the cast of J.J. Abrams’ upcoming “Star Trek” movie were swirling Tuesday after a blog post linked him to the Capt. Kirk role. As of Tuesday evening, however, imdb.com listed the role of Kirk to be played by Pine as “in talks.”
