The Chicago production of “Jersey Boys” has announced a daily sale of rush tickets. Every morning at 10 a.m., the box office at the LaSalle Bank Theatre (18 W. Monroe St.) will sell 10 front row seats for that night’s performance for $25 each — in person and cash only. Congo Square Theatre Company’s production of “Elmina’s Kitchen” has been extended through Sunday at the Chicago Center for the Performing Arts. On Friday, playwright Kwame Kwei-Armah will attend a special benefit performance for Congo Square. … This year’s holiday show in the Studio Theatre at the Chicago Cultural Center will be the world premiere of “A Charlie Chaplin Christmas,” a tribute to the celluloid master. … The Cirque du Soleil’s “Saltimbanco” plays at Assembly Hall in Champaign, Ill., on Nov. 9 and 10. … “My First Time,” the off-Broadway show about losing one’s virginity, is expected in Chicago in 2008.
