The Bears enjoyed the Eagles’ strategic game of keep-away Sunday, gladly accepting great field position in exchange for sacrificing the opportunity for Devin Hester to return a kickoff or a punt. Eagles rookie punter Sav Rocca averaged just 33 yards on four punts.
– Muhsin Muhammad helped position Hester at the line of scrimmage throughout the game. “We were in certain situations where our positions switch,” Hester said. “Some of the plays I didn’t know. Moose helped me out a little bit, and we came out with the win.” The Bears had to burn a timeout when Hester misunderstood a play called in the huddle.
– Brian Urlacher looked pretty healthy in leading the team in tackles with 12. Tommie Harris resembled his Pro Bowl self more times than not in getting two sacks.
