Moviegoers in the Halloween spirit over the weekend sunk their teeth into vampire flick “30 Days of Night,” making it No. 1 with $16 million.
Last week’s No. 1, Tyler Perry’s “Why Did I Get Married?” hung in to take the second spot with $12.1 million.
And Disney’s annual release of “Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas in Disney Digital 3-D” had the highest per-screen earnings average, raking in more than $9,000 per screen to land at No. 8 with $5.1 million.
