Maybe one day Mark Cuban will own an NBA championship ring. Maybe one day — if he’s allowed to buy the team — he’ll guide the Cubs to a World Series win.

But he’ll never be lord of the dance.

Cuban got the boot Tuesday night from “Dancing With the Stars.”

“I’ve gained so many new friends,” he said. “I’ve gained such an appreciation for the effort that everybody puts in. And, you know what? It’s just been such an amazing, amazing experience. I wouldn’t have traded it for the world.”

So Cuban didn’t have the smoothest moves. At least he has some company in the entertainment world. RedEye can rattle off a few other two-left-footed dancing celebrities that would give Cuban a running-man for his money.

DANGEROUS MOVES

MASTER P: The rapper flows on the mic, but he looked more like Master Tree when it was his time to shine in the “Dancing With the Stars” ballroom.

BRITNEY SPEARS: Normally an amazing dancer, Britney’s moves at the MTV Video Music Awards in September had viewers scratching their heads. And don’t even get us started on her pole routine in the “Gimme More” video.

PRESIDENT BUSH: Not much more needs to be said about this photo.

BAI LING: Her dancing on VH1’s “But Can They Sing?” was almost as shaky as her warbling vocals.

What a character

Let’s not forget some of the great bad dancers of the small screen.

* Elaine Benes, “Seinfeld”

Dance: “The Elaine”

* Carlton Banks, “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air”

Dance: “The Carlton”

* Michael Scott, “The Office,”

Dance: “The Motivation Dance”

* Cliff Huxtable, “The Cosby Show,”

Dance: “The Hux”
