For Fall Out Boy frontman Patrick Stump, appearing in an upcoming “Law & Order” episode ain’t just a scene, it’s a dream come true.
Stump is set to guest star as Marty Dressler, an energy worker suspected of murder and kidnap during a New York power outage, MTV News reports.
“I’ve been begging forever, ’cause I’m just a fan,” Stump, an Illinois native, told MTV News. “Somehow they let me do it.”
An NBC spokeswoman told MTV News that Stump “has two key scenes in the interrogation room and another scene where he’s in the courtroom, being prosecuted.” The episode is tentatively scheduled to air in February.
