We hear about Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie all the time. But you seldom hear about Diane Lane and Josh Brolin, a celebrity couple who have been married for three years. You don’t see paparazzi hounding them outside some restaurant. You don’t read about them in the tabloids. And there’s a reason, says Brolin, who appears in “American Gangster” and “No Country for Old Men,” both opening next month.
“You do hear about us — but it’s about the work,” the actor told Armour & Co. when we sat down with him last week. “I do think you tend to attract that sort of thing. But we’re not looking for it, so people have been very respectful of us and we appreciate it hugely. We don’t get a lot of time together and the time that we spend together we don’t want to spend it running around and trying to find shelter from people who are chasing us with cameras.”
