*Chrysler is recalling 125,000 2007-08 Sebring and Dodge Avenger cars with 2.4-liter engines to address a problem with the cooling fan motor connector. 10-14-07
*Volkswagen is recalling 340,000 2005-08 Jetta and 2006-08 Rabbit, GTI and R32 cars because the headlights don’t meet federal safety standards. 10-7-07
*Chrysler has recalled 28,755 2007-08 Jeep Commander and Grand Cherokee SUVs to replace front-brake parts made of the wrong type of metal. 9-30-07
*Toyota is recalling “all-weather” floor mats in 55,000 Lexus ES350 and Toyota Camry sedans. 9-30-07
*Nissan is recalling nearly 420,000 1997-01 Pathfinder and Infiniti QX4 SUVs because of possible corrosion in the fuel-filler tube. 9-30-07
*Chrysler is recalling 296,500 2006-07 Jeep Grand Cherokee, Commander and Wrangler and Dodge Nitro SUVs to fix an electronic unit that could delay braking while coasting uphill. 9-23-07
*Chrysler is recalling 72,333 2008 Sebring covertibles and Dodge Avenger sedans to fix front-door latches and locks. 9-23-07
*Honda is recalling 182,756 2006-07 Civics to fix a wheel-bearing seal that may leak and cause the wheel to fall off. 9-23-07
*Honda is recalling 19,904 2006 Civic sedans and hybrids to repair a brake-light switch. 9-23-07
*GM has recalled 20,594 2002-04 Chevrolet Venture minivans and Buick Rendezvous SUVs and 2001-04 Pontiac Aztek SUVs and Pontiac Montana minivans to replace fuel tanks that may leak and cause a fire. 8-19-07
* Ford is recalling 3.6 million 1998-02 Ford Ranger; 1992-97 Lincoln Town Car, Ford Crown Victoria and Mercury Grand Marquis; 1993-98 Lincoln Mark VIII; 1993-95 Taurus SHO; 1999-01 Ford Explorer and Mercury Mountaineer; 2001-02 Ford Explorer Sport and Sport Trac; 1992-93 E150-350; 1997-02 E150-350; 1993 Ford F-Series and Bronco; 1994 Mercury Capri; 2003-2004 Ford F-150 Lightning and 1995-2002 Ford F53 vehicles to address ongoing concerns about a cruise-control switch. 8-12-07
