Escape from ‘Escape’

The king has left the building. Gerard Butler, who starred as King Leonidas in “300,” has bowed out of the planned remake of “Escape From New York,” Variety reports. Butler had been tapped to star as convict Snake Plissken but left the project over “creative differences.”
