A city of Chicago worker was convicted Thursday of soliciting someone he believed to be a 15-year-old boy for a lewd sex act in an online chat room. Terrence Sheahan, an electrical engineer for the city’s Department of Environment, was arrested in September 2002 in west suburban Westchester, where the rendezvous was supposed to take place, authorities said. It’s unclear how long authorities were investigating Sheahan.
