It could also accelerate the pace of people realizing that there’s a lot to be said for professionalism.

5 Fed up with the deluge of e-mails from PR people, Wired editor Chris Anderson blocked more than 300 of them from sending him story pitches or anything else via e-mail. The move will allow him to devote more of his time to reading sob stories from deposed foreign royalty.
